I’m Marine Le Pré, the translator, proofreader, and copywriter behind MLP Translations. Since 2015, I’ve been helping brands and businesses conquer the French-speaking market. By combining cultural sensitivity, creativity, and linguistic precision, I turn your words into real levers for brand image, emotion, and growth.
My journey
I’ve always been fascinated by words—their rhythm, precision, and power to move or persuade. This passion naturally led me to study languages, linguistics, and translation at the University of Poitiers, where I earned a Bachelor’s in English (LLCE) and a Master’s in Linguistics and Translation (LiLaC).
Between these degrees, I ventured to London as a French teaching assistant, my first deep immersion in British culture, sharpening my linguistic sensitivity and cultural curiosity. I returned after my Master for a second teaching experience—two formative years that gave me a nuanced understanding of the subtleties of English language and culture.
Back in France in 2015, I founded MLP Translations to put this bicultural expertise and my love of words at the service of brands and businesses who want to communicate with authenticity. Since then, I’ve helped numerous clients with translations, proofreading, and copywriting, creating content that is accurate, natural, and impactful.
